About UNIDO’s Global Alliance for Responsible and Green Minerals
The Global Alliance for Responsible and Green Minerals is a multi-stakeholder initiative with a holistic approach under the leadership of UNIDO. The Global Alliance promotes fair, sustainable and inclusive mineral supply chains, from extraction to recycling. It aims to support local value addition, create job opportunities, enable fair benefit sharing and enhance transparency while safeguarding human rights and the environment.
UNIDO acts as the convener of the Alliance, bringing together governments, private sector, labor unions, financial institutions, academia, non-governmental organizations and affected communities.
